The Kenne Bell IMO is the meaning sounding blower on the market. I wish there was one for a 3800 application.

I had a 96 Cobra (first year for the 4.6 DOHC) and I can tell you that they aren't that bad off of the line. Although torque peaked at 300 lb/ft @ 4800RPM, there was 250 lb/ft available right off of idle. HP was 305 @ 5800RPM, and I can tell you that revving above 6000RPM was just more for show......any dyno graph will show that HP falls off really quick over 6K. I had flowmasters on it, and I would rev it to 7200 just to make that great V8 rumble, but for racing I would rev it to 6500 in 1st, and then 6000 in the rest of the gears. The bulk of power was between 3800 and 6000RPM.

The 05 Mustang is a 3 valve, SOHC design, based on on the new F150 motor. I haven't heard much about the new Cobra, but I have been keeping my eyes open.
