A turbo'd 'Busa can get up that high, though. Besides, the view was actually closed in to the front 45* of view in front of the bike. If the camera angle had been wider, you would have had the sensation of going faster, kinda like a visual Doppler effect.

If that is the real speed on the speedo then he went from 40-100 in 3 secs flat...... crazy...

Next time you're on the freeway, take a look ahead of you. Doens't look like you're moving all that fast (probably). But take a look beside you. Sh*t'* flying by like you were in a hurricane at freeway speed.

What I'm saying is that it'* probably true because a) 'Busa'* have been recorded up that high in speeds and b) we only had that forward-facing view. If we would have seen to the side of the bike, instead of just that slower-looking forward view, it would have been more believable.

Not me........imagine a bug against the helmet

I had a bug hit my knee at about 150 on a modded GS1100 one time.
Nearly knocked me off the bike. I don't ride anymore ....
