I am personally liking it, but torn on if it will actually look good in person, especially from the back, but I think it will so I think I am going to do it and if it doesn't look good I can always do it in black instead to make it look stock again.

I think it looks in PS and will look better in person. Are you going to tint it? If so, have you thought about the B and C pillars going black?

Here'* a stupid question - Is your TB a 6 lug pattern now? I know the V series Caddies have 6 lug wheels and hubs but the reg versions only have 5 lugs

Ya I am gonna go ahead and paint all those parts now that I look at the pictures more.. Most likely will make it my afternoon project next saturday or sunday.

Tint was done 2 days after those pictures were taken, so that is done.

Yes my wheels are 6 lug. The SS wheels bolt right on to any vehicle on this platform whether it be Trailblazer, Envoy, etc..

Thought about doing black pillars but I looked at it and to avoid a paint line on rear pillar I am going to have to blend the clear into the rest of the silver, which I really don't want to mess around with perfect paint on a 11k mile vehicle right now..the plastic stuff I am doing can always be replaced which is why doing those things doesn't bother me, but I am going to stay away from doing the pillars. There is a guy who did it on the other forum I am a part of (Trailvoy.com) and I didn't care for the look all that much to be honest...maybe if I did the vehicle in two-tone I would like it, but other than that it just looked strange for some reason.

I also have emblems that just arrived today that I am putting on where the SS emblems would normally be, that are the exact same font, size, material, color etc.. as the factory SS emblems, but they are RS emblems. Essentially this is going to be my creation of the RS version of a trailblazer as no way would I badge it an SS, and it no longer is a stock LS..so it is now in my eyes an RS....a 6 cyl higher performance if you will...since I will have intake, tune, exhaust, SS wheels (I am also getting RS decals made for the center caps instead of the bowtie) then later on suspension and of course all the other appearance stuff I am doing and have done. Figured the emblems will really finish it off and set the truck apart from others and be good conversation starters

My goal is a unique Trailblazer, done my style, that looks like it came that way from the factory

Will post pics of the progress and end results, you can be sure of that

Thanks for the ideas bud! Painting the plastic might be happening today as the job I had lined up on a car fell through, being they sold the car over the weekend.

Looks great Nick. Love the RS badging.

One more idea, of the top of my head, not thought out. Have you thought about painting the darker parts of the tailights silver and tinting the lighter red (bulb area) and reflectors?

I did think about that actually lol..wow you have a lot of the same ideas that run through my mind... but In the end I decided it would be a little much and might even put it borderline "Ricey" ?

I really am liking the way hese tails look tinted/smoked, especially now that the plastic underneath is silver, it just makes them stand out more.

With that said here are the pics of the finished result! (Note they look like a slightly darker silver in the pictures but I think that is due to the texture of them and the way they reflect light. It looks really nice in person.

Just need the wheels to finish it off, which I really want to have worse right now, as I feel kindda like a Ricer with the RS badges at the moment, being they don't fully make sense yet..the SS wheels which we pick up the first weekend in August will finish it off nicely and also the exhaust to get rid of that ugly black can on the back which arrives Wednesday, so that night I will be installing it!

Exhaust is on!

I really like the exhaust. It is louder than my bonneville both inside and out, BUT it can be a tad annoying in a lot of stop light to stop light driving (idle to 3000 rpm range), after a couple days I am sure I will be used to it..

Anything above 50 mph is no drone, and on the interstate I can't even here it at speeds above 70mph which is great as this was a big deal to me.

I am assuming the exhaust will break in over the next several hundred miles and the sound will change slightly (as every exhaust system I have ever had does this)

Video shows: Stock and Gibson at idle, then revving, then hard acceleration inside vehicle, then acceleration outside vehicle (gibson only)

Note: I just got back from my Fiance' driving while I listened and from the outside it sounds really good in person, in the video I posted I had mixed feelings on it, but that was before I just went out and heard it in person

I suggest wearing headphones if you don't have a good set of speakers, or the sound won't be accurate..

All that is left is SS wheels next weekend and she will be complete...for now
