Cool Been a little busy with a new ride!

Sorry I have been non-existent lately. I used to be on here everyday, and for the last few months that hasn't been the case. Lots going on with life, some ups, some downs, but hopefully I will be back here more often now and be spending some time with my own car.

With that said, I have been busy the last few weeks Modding my Fiance'* Trailblazer we picked up.

Back before the Bonne I had a '06 Trailblazer that I had modded a bit appearance wise, and I have always missed that vehicle, luckily my other half wanted an SUV real bad, and I was dying to get her out of her Hyundai and into a GM vehicle!

I searched around, looked at a few, and ended up with the best one I think we could have ever possibly found, a 2005 with only 9,800 miles on it! We were both excited to get it, and I think I am spending more time with it than her due to the modding lol, but I just couldnt have a stock looking Trailblazer when I was used to my good looking one that I had! Also the fact that she said whatever I do she knows will look good being she loves all the things I've done to the bonneville..so she doesnt even ask questions when I do stuff.

So here is what is done so far:

-A quick coat of Zaino (haven't given it the full Zaino treatment yet)
-6000k HID'*
-Fog light housing (LS model) painted black with LED'* added (see pics) LED'* are also wired to flash with the blinkers.
-Side moldings color matched to body (hated the black plastic look)
-Chrome door handles (again, hated the black plastic look)
-Front and rear Bowties Tinted to give a black chrome/gold effect
-Tailights tinted black on surrounding areas and smoked on the actual area that lights up, and rear reflectors/3rd brake light tinted
-Roof rack cross bar delete
-Custom Grille

Also today windows were just tinted so pics of that will come after my Gibson Cat-back exhaust I ordered arrives and I put it on lol

A fund has also been started for wheels/tires to finish it all off, as that is what is going to really make her stand out and compliment everything done this far

The Bowties, Tail lights, and reflectors were all tinted by myself with same formula I used on all my Bonneville stuff and they all look great in person.. the bowties change color from different angles/lighting conditions, which is pretty cool.

Anyways..here are the pictures.

What she looked like with 9k miles the day we bought it:

And what she looks like now with the color matched side molding and chrome handles: (hated the black plastic side molding and handles)

Grille, and blacked painted Fog Light housing with LED'* (also tinted Bowtie, which in the next pictures you will see how depending on the light it changes color):

Better picture showing off the LED'* in the fog light housing and the easiest mod of all, the roof rack cross bar delete, and you can see how the chevy emblem looks black at this angle:

Picture of my Bonneville after I put Halo'* on it (Fiance' wanted Halos just like this for the TB too, but the circular shape just didnt fit right) so thats why I went with the LED'* you see above instead:

Side shot of the tinted tails (everything but the area light shines through is blacked out completely, the rest is smoked)

Rear shot of the tinted/smoked tails, bumper reflectors, 3rd brake light, and Tinted rear bowtie:

I know wheels and tires are going to be the biggest change to the vehicle, but they are also the most expensive thing to add, So we are excited to get those changed as soon as money allows us too (hopefully before christmas I have a few options I have narrowed it to...18'* with sport tires, 18'* with A/T raised white letter tires, or 20'* with sport tires...just can't decide on which as they all are almost the exact same price.

Side note..I drove ahead of my Fiance' the other night when it was dark and the LED'* and HID'* on it look absolutely SICK in the dark/in person, (almost as sick as my bonneville of course) so I am VERY happy with those! Tried to capture it with the camera, but it is very difficult and they didnt turn out at all.

Thanks for reading and looking!
