mark? you see straight again? I don't know what you mean..they look normal to me. i know i need a mount..but still

matt, heh, yeah...its why we shop here.

gxp, yeah, i love the newer GMT900 avalanches...but i've heard they do HORRIBLY on gas for some reason.
All I can say is holy bat man that thing is held back... And a 5500 shift... Still a good looking truck tho
seriously. thats why it needs an intake, maf, headers, cats, catback, 180* stat and electric fans just to give it some more instant on power. it lags SO bad when its hot out because of the engine driven fan alone. when its like 55 out with no ac on...ohhh, she moves much better, but not as good as it could.

mostly its the fact that a base 1500 4x4 weighs 5650... i haven't had this one weighed, but it being fully optioned, that usually warrants quite a bit more weight over base, with its time to 60...i estimate its weight, with a full tank, with me driving..is around 6550.

last week, we put about 600 lbs of lumber in there with 5 total people and a full tank of fuel....hell...musta been weighing in around 4 tons. but i tell yah, it handles loads quite well...even when weighed down like that.

after all those above listed mods, i would definitely go after it with a superchips cortex to kick it up a notch. but currently, payments for the thing are enough to tide the wallet over.
