Ok I have a 180 stat in my 00 Park Ave. When driving up mountain in Maine in 75 deg weather the temp goes up to like 210 degs .. All other times it runs about 185. Is this normal and how hot is too hot ??


I have flushed system a year ago all new coolant and it is clean clean clean ...

I've had 2 Park Aves. Both fluctuated quite a bit. As well GM temp gauges arent well calibrated. 210 is fine. Both mine have been near 220 by the temp gauge. My GXp shows a consistent 200 sice new even though it hads a 180 stat.
