Default Caddy Rims For Park Ave Work?

From a 1995 Eldorado I found a set of 4 aluminum mags.
Bolts specs etc match up perfectly however....
The Caddy rims are a half inch wider: 7 inch wide compared to the 6.5 PA rim
The offset of the Caddy rim is +42 and the Park ave off set is +50
Does anyone know if there will be a problem with these new rims?
I am not sure what the off set .8 difference will mean is the rim more inwards?
I guess I will have to mount with a tire and see what happens..
Any guesses here or opinions?

just means it will be 8mm closer to the outside, and the half inch wider is going to be a quarter bigger both ways. not a very big change not even likely you will notice the difference

Thanks You Justin! Sounds like good news!
I just hope there is no rub at full lock, and that there is no interference with PA'* large caliper /brackets.
Even though I will have caddy emblems on a PA, I like the looks of the new mags better.
May eventually move the 4 Michelin Destiny, all season, onto the new rims.
And the current 13 slot PA rims mount some snows.
Comparisons photo of the mags...

Too bad the PA'* center caps are so much larger than the caddy caps.
I measured the caddy caps 6.5 wide and I could probably install the new mags and order in the Buick 6.5 caps from Lesabre, hoping they would just drop in...$23 each..Interesting!~
CenterCaps.net - Cap Listing - Buick Details - Lesabre
Probably could even sell the caddy caps at $20 each.

Cant wait to see how they look installed, having snow tires mounted on the original rims is an excellent idea, and one I hope to eventually be able to do.

hey softride, where are you located? id would be willing to trade or buy your old rims if you live close enough. mine looks like someone took a sledge hammer to the hubcaps to get them off and the wheels themselves are scratched pretty good. need something more respectable.

thanks alot!

probably the best pic ive got without going outside to take one. same size as your stock rims. my dad has your rims on his 99 park ave but he wont budge either

my rims look similar, but my gap between my spokes is alot smaller between the edge of the wheel and the center. im pretty sure my hubcap is smaller also.

thanks alot!

Question Update -Caddy Rims Trial Fitment Today

Well as the title says with one front & rear tire removed, tried one caddy rim onto my 97 PA with some pretty tight areas of concern.
With the caddy rims half an inch wider (7 inch wide rim) it becomes clear that a mounted tire will be necessary to find out if they are going to rub. On front suspension in turns looks very tight and on rear the brake cable is so close.
So I guess I now know why the Park Ave comes with 6.5 inch wide rims.:
Probably will not mount a tire until the next oil change in a few months.
Just going to find a junk tire in right size for next trial fitment....
Really dont want to use spacers....to pull em out a bit....but....
Are there proper spacers for this application?..Must be..

Art, They make generic center caps for the PA wheels. They look the same as the factory centers but they do not have a Buick logo, they are just plain. I got them on e-bay. They might make a generic center for the caddy wheels.
