Default Knock sensor resistance test

You have two knock sensors on your engine, one in the front near the starter.

And another near the rear of the engine, near the center between the cross member and oil pan.

Use your DVOM and clip the black probe to a good ground. Set your meter to the 200k ohm scale, skip this if you have a auto scaling meter. Touch the red probe to the terminal in the sensor.

Then check your reading.
