Saw this portable engine lift on Craigslist, wondering if it is worth buying.

jwfirebird has a reputation beyond repute

not that good a deal if its a cheap on like harbor freight,i would just buy one from there at least you can get a warranty

That looks like an older model. The one I have has all swiveling casters. Either way, they were probably made by the same chinese factory and I got mine at Autozone 2 years ago. Mine worked fine for the multiple engine pulls and sits in my garage just fine.

I wanted the lift primarily to simply lift the 4.3L engine on the S10 to make replacing the driver side motor mount a little easier.... The guy said he would sell for $75....
