Default New Tools

I just picked up a Craftsman 3/8 drive ratchet/socket set on sale at Sears for $19.99. Standard and deep SAE and Metric with long and short extensions. Came with it'* own molded red plastic carry case with a handle. My old set has a new owner, so I'm rebuilding. Also got a pair of medium ViseGrips.

I stopped into the Home Depot on the way back and picked up some less expensive drive adapters (3/8 to 1/4 and 3/4) and a 7mm deep 12pt socket.

Tomorrow I'll pick up a pair of Craftsman Electrician'* Needle Point Pliers. Strips multiple gauges, crimps, cuts, insulated - $19.99.. what a deal.

I broke in my new ratchet set by replacing the left rear backup bulb in my LeSabre. Had to remove the whole trunk-mounted end panel light assy - took about 10 min start to finish.

Next on my list is a set of screw driver tipped sockets.

Default Tool Pics

I had my camera out for another thread here, so I clicked these off. I had to start my tool collection all over again - I grabbed these at Sears and Home Depot over the past few weeks.

20-inch Craftsman plastic molded box

Molded case for ratchet & socket set

3/8 Ratchet with extensions, SAE and Metric deep and regular sockets

Vise Grips and Husky slip-joint

Craftsman 3/8-5/8 Combo wrenches in roll-up with velcro closure

Craftsman 3/8 to 1/4 and 1/2 adapters with Husky 7mm deep socket

Craftsman 1/4-inch hex shank screwdriver bits - they fit nicely in a socket

Very Nice! Good clear camera you have as well!
Hmm...I could use another tool box for the Buick. That small craftsman look interesting.
Will have to go to a store here and see one!
Thanks for posting all your new tools!
