Ok so what brand are u guys using for inch pound torque wrenches?
Should I be looking for a Snap On... Or....???
How accurate are they? My last one (which I dropped) I did not trust at all.
Do them Come in a case like my large Maximum Breaker/Lug Torque r?

I went with a HFT one because it was on sale for like 9.99, I got it for like 15.00 or so after shipping, it is not on sale now, but they frequently go on sale.
It worked for mi UIM/LIM job, does not seem too bad to be so cheap.

seems the hf ones are decent enough i have had my ftlb one for a long time and have had no issues with it. and i use it pretty frequently. inch lb i use so infrequently i just borrowed from work. it was alot more extensive but its electrically insulated for battery terminals

I have a Craftsman I bought in 2009, has worked well for me up to this point

That might do for $20? Similar to the HFT and same specs +- 4% accuracy, 20-200in lb.

i have an electronic snap on inch/ft/neuton torque wrench and it is dead on the spot and even vibrates when u get to the correct torque!!

I have gotten by with a craftsman 3/8" drive torque wrench; I believe it will do up to 250 inch pounds. I think it cost 39.00 on sale. If your looking for something more precise you can go with a westward, basco or proto dial torque wrench. These will run 250.00 on up depending on drive size. I've never seen the need for a 1/4 drive torque wrench. I've done enough wrenching to know when I'm over tightening with the smaller fasteners. I have a used 1/2 drive torque wrench which again is not high end at all but works for giving me a pretty close enough torque for items like lug nuts and suspension related nuts. I used to work at a dealership and if your just starting out you can get by with a H.F. pittsburg torque wrench. In car repair you really don't need a precision torque wrench for most applications. If your working on aircraft or in the aeronautical repair then you would want more precision.
