I use HF for specialty tools I will only use on a limited basis. Installed hardwood flooring this summer, and bought all the fasteners at HF. Bought my air compressor, and an engine stand at HF. I buy all my socket organizers at HF.

I have posted this before, but this site has all the latest and best HF coupons, including the membership program HF charges an annual fee for. My favorite coupon is 25% off any item and the one on this site is good until April 2014.

I don't see them carrying the one I have right now, but they do have a similar inner tie rod removal tool, the one I have is a US General, I'll try to get the model number from the box, as I still have the case in the box..

Sorry, my bad. I meant pittman arm puller from Autozone.

I had to modify this one with a grinder to make it fit onto my Blazer'* pittman arm.

I discovered an HFT about 10 miles from my house. The only purchase from HFT I do not like is a solar cell phone charger, it does not work. My favorite purchase from HFT is an automotive DVM, They don't have the model anymore I have. Has usual DVM functions plus temp , freq , trigger , stores data to play back , download to pc is back lit , plus many many more functions. 2nd favorite is the digital battery tester...you need one of these. Bought one of the flexible inspection scopes..1/2" electric impact wrench, 1/2" electric drill. 3/8" battery powered drill. Impact sockets, breaker bars, extensions, sockets, air powered grinder, oil for the grinder, drill bits ...etc.
I have been buying from them for the last 10 years, maybe longer.

I like it , can't see the screen in bright sun light, they have another one with a larger screen its close to $200. The scope I got on sale plus I gave them a 25% off coupon that they honored. It has an RCA / composite video out like the type for older camcorders. I have a RCA / COMPOSITE to USB converter I got on Ebay for $10 that I am going to use with a notebook for better live viewing or to record on the fly to view later while drinking my favorite beverage. I have an oil leak on the back of the motor , thought it was the LIM used the scope now believe it is the Distributor blank that drives the oil pump ( 2003 3.4L Impala) you tube has a lot of reviews of HFT tools they may have one of the scope. oh yeah also comes with an attachment set that snap onto the end, a magnet, hook and one other, has many purposes beside just for automotive.
