Default 1993 Buick Skylark Gran Sport - Ignition Cylinder Lock Question

Car is a 1993 Buick Skylark Gran Sport, 3.3L v6. The key will not remain in the run position after starting (so it immediately shuts off unless I manually hold the key in the run position). It also will not turn to the Accessory position.

Can I replace just the lock cylinder (first photo) or do I need to replace the whole shebang (second photo). If just the lock cylinder, what is the procedure to remove it? I found the procedure for the entire housing. Would rather not go there if I can avoid it.

The housing has the spring load that is likely busted.
