Default 2005 Chevy Sierra instrument panel

I just replaced my instrument cluster. The initial symptoms were parasitic power draw, illumination but no indicator on PRNDL display, no fuel, oil pressure or temp guage function and no instrument panel dimming functionality. After replacing the instrument panel these symptoms are all still present. Where do I go next for diagnosis? Thanks

How many miles on it?

How many miles are on it?

I would start by checking grounds.

. . . and just checking: No dimming feature when the parking lights and head lights are on, right?
