Hey folks I've messed with this intermittent gauge dropping issue for way too long and am starting over with some basic fundamentals. I have the service guide and wiring diagrams. I have a DMM and DLC breakout box. I have a bidirectional scantool. One thing I'd like to start with is checking the terminating resistors. But I have NO idea what those are on this car. In 06 GM used CAN+ and CAN- (DLC pins 6 and 14) for that but anybody know how to check on the earlier class 2??

If the network is in good order it'll be 60ohms.
What does the scan tool show you? What will it not talk to?

You have the service lit.....Do you know how to use it? Comm issues and this code should be in there.
