i need to replace the filter on my th400 thats in a 1989 gmc r3500 with a 454 and was wondering whats the best brand to get .also should i get one with the paper filter or brass screen? Its all stock if that helps any.

Just get one from your local parts store. I would go with the cheaper myself. Some people think more expensive is more value. I'm not one.
