Default 99 lesabre transaxle mount

Hello everyone. Can anyone help an old man out? I have a 99 Buick Lesabre 3800 with 170,000 miles and bit off more than i can chew i'm afraid. I am replacing the transaxle which is going slowly due to health issues but anyway i have the front mount out and the right rear dogbone out and the left rear mount is unfastened from transaxle and frame but for the life of me i cant finagle the mount out, it seems to hang up on the rack and pinion. Any thoughts or techniques?

Jack up the engine pan(large block of wood) and lower the cradle.....

For future reference the rear mount does not have to be removed from the car per manual, just remove bolts and leave it in place.
