Default 1995 Buick Lesabre Limited 3.8L v6 firewall passthrough

In the midst of installing an Amp and Sub to my 95 lesabre I wired the power under the door trim and all but am now stuck in the passenger side of the cabin and cannot locate an area where I can pass a 4G wire through to the engine to hook it up to the battery. Battery is on the passenger side. Would like to avoid drilling holes if I can

I would drill a hole, wherever it is convenient....makes the hole big enough, so that a rubber grommet will fit tightly around the wire, so that the wire is protected from chafing, and the grommet will act as a good weather seal....and make sure the power source is protected with a fuse.....

Which end of the silver linkage do I remove? I would guess it'* the end with the pointed (downward facing) pin.

Since this is old nylon, what is the preferred tool?
