Default Driver front seats that fit 1998 LeSabre Limited???

Can someone recommend a guide that will show which driver front seats would work as a replacement for a 1998 Buick LeSabre Limited? The seat frame is busted and leading to "gangsta lean." I'm checking salvage yards for other LeSabre 1998s but wondered if there might be a guide to what other Buick/GM models have seats that could be switched out.

I guess I can just measure the the width and length of the bolts holding the seats onto the tracks and compare but I've got to think there is a guide out there somewhere providing this info.

I am figuring any of the other H-Body units, or 91-96 C body'* as well. This lineup consists of 92-99 Bonneville, Olds 88, and LeSabre, and 91-96 Park Avenue and Olds 98.

I have found a passenger seat but the broken seat is the driver seat. If I can figure out how to just replace the seatback, I'm good.

Can anyone offer advice on how to take apart the seatback? or, probably more important, how to replace the seatback? Guessing that I need a special tool to loosen this bolt.

Appreciate any thoughts.

Bolt on one side of seatback mechanism.

inside of seatback mechanism. How do you disassemble ... more importantly, how do you assemble?

One side should be the pivot point, with all of the bushings. The other side should be attached to the recline mechanism, which should unbolt from the bottom side of the seat. It looks to be a standard torx bit, which is usually easily obtainable.

To pull the seat cover off, you will likely need to remove the headrest, which can be tricky depending on how it'* configured.

Also, if you have heated seats, be on the lookout for wiring connectors running to the seat back.

As stated, you will need to remove the headrest......remove the upholstry back cover and the cushion....this should expose the reclining mechanism to see what is broken.......that is a torx bolt.....you will need a set of these:
