Default 3.3 Century won't start back up after drive

I have a 99 buick century with the 3.3 in it and what happens is ill start it up at the first of the day, drive it 15 minutes, let it sit for 30 minutes and it will not start back up, all it will do is fire up for a second then die, 5 minutes later it'll finally start and run perfectly fine. This happens every day. Help is appreciated

Ok, it starts and runs cold ok....if you were to drive it a long distance say, half an hour, still ok when coming to a stop, and it idles ok? Then you shut it off, will it restart right away? If it does, but you wait 10 minutes or longer, it won't?

Sure it'* a 3300 and not a 3100?

Have you checked for codes?

Check the vac line to fuel pressure regulator for fuel....

Like all vehicles that won't start, you check for fuel pressure, spark, and injector pulse....

Yeah. It will start back up right away but not after 10 minutes or so then it will take a while to start. I'm sure its 3300 and no codes

most of the time this with no codes is either crank sensor or ICM getting heat soaked and on its way out

ckp is cheaper but not a real fun job. the icm you may be able to use a newer one from a junk yard, i would try to find one from a car with less than 50-60k

Turns out all 6 of my injectors need replaced, and the harmonic balancer is shifting and is hitting the crank sensor. gonna be pretty pricy for this car. Think I should let it go?
