Hi:
The exhaust was completely replaced on my 2002 SSEi.
However, it appears that when they changed it - the exhaust tips are now about 1-2" lower than they were before - meaning they are hanging farther from the body of the car.
Are there any GM specs as to how far the exhaust tips are to be away from the body of the car?
I would very much like to have this changed - as it looks off...
Thanks!

Never heard of specifications for tail pipes. I guess its just done within good engineering/mechanical practices. Not too close to the plastic bumper, but obviously not too close to the ground. Generally on average, I see about a 2" separation between the pipe and bumper.

Like you said, to close to the plastic bumper and it melts.
To far away from the plastic bumper and it looks bad...
2inches seems like too much, i would think about an inch maybe a little over. or if you are the shop my wife took ours too while i was away, put the whole thing from the muffler upside down and backwards so i have to take it completely apart and fix it.
