Help, car won't shift out of park.
My father in law has left his 1991 bonneville sitting for a year ... we charged battery and it started fine .. problem is that it won't shift out of park ... brake lights come on... it is sitting on incline .. I have tried rocking car while he tried to shift it without success ... checked all fuses in car ... all good ... is there a way to bypass interlock this car has a column shift ... I would greatly appreciate any suggestions anyone might have .. Thanks , Kerry
