Default power inverter - game console

I'm going on a long trip and wanted to have a ps2 game console working in the car for the trip.. is it possible to buy a couple of those power inverters that plug into the cigarette lighter and then plug in the game console and a small tv? or is hooking these things up much more complicated than that?

Thanks in advance for any help

What I did in my previous cars is buy an inverter. Plugged it in, put the XBOX in the back seat ran the audio RCA'* to the head unit. And then I bought a used 7" monitor hooked the video line to the video line off the XBOX. The sound played through my speakers in the car and the video played on the monitor. At least thats what I did. Let me know if you have any questions.

define "small tv"

thats what you will have to base your inverter on

I guess what I'm actually asking.. is one of those little inverters that you plug into the lighter outlet.. supply enough power to power up a small tv and a playstation? or should I be looking at one of those large size inverters that you'd have to mount under the seat or something like that???

thanks again everybody

Look on the back of the tv and console and see what watts they need to run, then buy the appropriate inverter.
