anyone know if i can take off rev limiter and speed limiter with a tech 2 i work at a dealership and have access to one thanks

Not really sure, but I believe you have to buy a performance PCM to do that. Check out aftermarket places like INTENSE and ZZP.

no, you have to get an aftermarket burn on the PCM

I'm not so sure on the 2000'* guys.

At some point there was a way to download or reflash the speed and rev limiter parts of the PCM. I know this to have been true on the Chevy trucks and don't see why it wouldn't hold true on the B'ville

aftermarket burn? any way i can hook in to it and do this myself or do i have to send it in thanks for everyones help

You must change the programming in the PCM. This can not be done with a GM Tech-II unless the code was modified before downloading to the PCM (GM Engineer would have to write the code).

We do this in our aftermarket PCM'* which power 11 of the 15 top Bonnevilles including my low 12 second SSEi. The PCM can be purchased from us for 100.00 plus a refundable core chrage and basically allows you to just swap PCM'*.
