Default Scan tool recommendations?

I am looking to add a scan tool to monitor: KR, O2, and any other functions like duty cycle.
What are you guys using or what do you recommend?

Is there any other features that I should look for?

This really depends on your desire.

If you want something in the car all times, the AeroForce is great.

If you want more functionality on multiple vehicles with enhanced items.. there are a number of laptop based
AutoEnginuity
Autotap

If you are looking for a handheld
AutoXray
Acctron (be wary of which one though)

The AutoXray is a better scanner for the money over the Actron.
Get it ordered from Advance and it may actually be cheaper and allows access to enhanced data after a 50 buck upgrade

The Actron won't monitor KR either

For laptop based you may want to check out hptuners.com I know they are selling the scanner seperatly now from the tuner software and its the best in the biz. For full time monitor the Aeroforce scangauge is the way to go. For hand helds nothing beats the GM Tech-II but thats expensive so a snap-on or other good quality handheld will work.

Thanks guys!

I think I am going to start with the on board gage for now, then move up to the HP tuner. Becase that is what my next question was going to be is.. How do you make adjustment to the maping or other parameter in the ECU/PCM. I assume the HP tuner is the answer, Right?

What if I get the intense basic PCM update, then can I use the HP tuner to make additional adjustments?

Thank you all for teaching me all about the Bonniville!
