I'm not talking about a set of spark plugs and some coil packs, or whatever...I'm talking about electronically tuning your timing and/or fuel curves, etc...
I see all of the aftermarket PCM'* are for newer cars. If a 95 Bonneville owner wanted to do some engine work and then actually tune it for the best results, how would they do it? Are there ANY alternatives, or any other routes to take to maximize any planned engine mods for best all around performance?

i think almost everyone but you can
95 was the hybrid year, your car is neither OBD 1 or OBD 2, its kinda OBD 1.5....simply put there arent any PCM options except custom burn, and i think pretty much everything has to be custom, but it can possibly be done, not for sure on it though.

oh yeah forgot about the mini-afc
but wouldnt it be hard to put a scan tool on his car? im sure its either and OBD 1 or 2 connector, but the rest of the system isnt full on either version is it?

www.gmtuners.com will burn you a chip for a 95 L36, however the burn is based off the 94 L27 and may or may not be optimized. We have one running here. Talk to 95nSta.
