Ever since I got the satellite internet this page has been ungodly slow. By slow, I mean it takes probably 2 minutes for each page to load! All images load instantly, but anything that is being pulled from the Bonnevilleclub.com server (69.63.97.266) takes FOREVER! It does this on all of my computers and I'm really not sure why. Here'* how slow it is just to give you an idea: It takes about 5 seconds for each LINE of text to show up on my screen! Other pages no matter how big load almost instantly. My connection usually goes right around 900k/sec. Just curious why only this site would be affected and one other (that I know of.) The other site that I can't even load at all is www.autotrader.com. it will only load the top link bar but it won't load the rest of the page at all, and I can't look at links going TO autotrader.com This is really odd. I already did a traceIP on this site, and The hops are from Michigan (where I am) to chicago--->Washington---->Washington---->Texas---->Minnessota. It was only a total of like 7 hops so it'* not like I'm going too far. It just doesn't make any sense at all. Anyone have any ideas at all whatsoever?

Don't know what to tell you, but I have a same problem on Club GP.com takes forever. Everything else loads real fast with Comcast Cable not sure current speed.
Any one got one of those speed checkers bookmarked?

But i bet your lag is horrendous. Satellite internet has to get shot into space and back down. It'* fast sure, but it'* delayed. Ever had problems playing games? Same thing.

But it shouldn't be even close to that bad.... you should email your ISP about it.

ah, it'* not so bad. the lag is about 1/2 second. (when you push enter, it takes about half a second for the page to start to load.) Regardless it'* world'* better than dialup. (download speeds with that were only 3k/sec! ) It'* odd how it is only this site that I have a problem with and autotrader.

Comcast came up 2640 / 240 and clubgp still is slow :?

Wow, my college is internet challenged. I just got 64 down, 139 up. We're supposed to have T1 too. I guess thats what a bottleneck will do to you.
