Default A/C problem

ok so now when it ry to use the a/c it makes a howling sound which is louder the hgiher the RPM'* are and its not cold at all, i got the compressor replaced and charged a few months ago, tihnk i should just recharge it or look for a leak? and if i should look for a leak, where are likely culprits?

Howling and lack of cold point to a bad compressor.

How recent is the howling? Lift the hood and try to determine where exactly it'* coming from.

I agree with Bill on the lack of cold may be a compressor or possibly a switch. One thing to take a look at is whether or not the compressor is kicking on. If you don't see it coming on at all. Take a look at the wiring to it. Frequently the connector is tough to get off and many people break the retaining tab when changing the compressor. Which could mean it'* merely unplugged. Doesn't explain the howl though.

yup billl................the noise is the compressor if one of your sensors are gone you will have that problem you can by-pass the switch by putting a paper clip in the sensor and if it starts up your compressor thats the baby
