Default Tire fun

So, the other day I notice my driver front tire is going flat and it makes a clicky noise. I check it out and there is a bolt through the tread. Ok, I'm going to Sear'* tomorrow, I think to myself Later in the afternoon, I see that my other front tire is losing air even faster. It seems the screw that'* been stuck in it for months finally let loose. So I went to Sears that afternoon. They fix them, $20 a piece. Later the same night, I notice they put the driver on backwards. Went the next day because it was too late. Free fix, of course. Three days later, the passenger front is still going low. I went back. They guy works on it for twenty minutes, then comes and tells me it'* unrepairable. And that somehow he didn't mention that little fact to me the first time. He then says "We have these tires $220 a piece, and I recommend you get a pair. We don't like to put one new tire on." Yeah, I bet. Grabbed my keys and lug socket and went straight to Farm King. Seven minutes, 8 bucks, several days later and not an ounce of air lost.

COME ON, SEARS. I used to work with you guys, remember??

Like I'm gonna buy two new $220 tires because one has a repairable slow leak.

Worked in Sears automotive several (er...many) years ago, but it probably hasn't changed that much. Selling 1 tire really screws up the inventory but 2 tires makes it worth the effort. Doesn't everyone here carry a plug kit. Wouldn't leave home without it, never had a plug blow out yet.
