What steps do I need to take to make sure I get performance out of a SC on a SE. What do I need to do or have done before I can plop a SC on my SE 3800 S1? :?
contrary to popular belief, i think that it is possible to put a sc on a n/a. The psi would have to be lower than 7 psi probably and an intercooler would also be needed (so the pistons don't weld themselves to the cylinder wall from the heat). BUT To find a sc that you could get to work on a na and making it work costs like a billion dollars. So if you have a ton of money and like to waste it this is the way to go.
It IS possible! I was going to do it to my own 92 SE, but got a Series II engine for $200 instead. As for a sample list of components:
Wastegate; Lower Intake Manifold; SC Kit; EGR Valve; SC; Custom EPROM; TB; Fuel Injectors; SC By-Pass Valve; EGR Adapter; EGR Pipe; etc....

Although the model year isn't correct for you, this might be of interest anyway.
