Saturn Vue Timing
Hi,
This weekend I replaced my head gasket and a few other gaskets due to water being in the oil. After getting ever thing installed and cranking the engine I noticed the timing was off. Thinking back I don't think I had the engine at TDC. I did take the camshafts, and rockers out before take the head off. I guess my question is when I go back in to reset the timing once I have the engine at TDC do I have to move the cams to ensure that the timing is correct?

If your oil got mixed with glycol you'll likely have bearing issues. The problem is the glycol causes the oil to form a sludge. When it gets into the oil galleries it will starve bearings.
