I have to replace the transmission cooler lines that are on the passenger side of the radiator they seem to be leaking where the metal meets the rubber hose. Any tricks to this or is it pretty straight forward? Any idea how much tranny fluid I’ll have to replace?

It'* pretty straight forward. Just loosen up the fittings that attach the line to the cooler. You will probably lose about 1.5 quarts of trans fluid. Whatever is in the lines and the cooler.

Once you have the old lines off and before installing the new ones, might not be a bad idea to use some compressed air (don't get wild with the psi) to make sure your radiator trans cooler is not clogged, also you might pull the radiator cap while doing this and make sure you don't see any bubbles.

Well one line was rusted in the nut and of course it had to be the one on the lower side of the radiator which is the hardest to remove. The removal tool didn’t work well becuase of everything being so rusted. I lost maybe 3/4 of a quart not much. Basically what was in the lines. So I had to order a new connection and a few clips. I had to move and slight bend those new lines to get everything to fit. At this point I don’t care how it looks just as long as it works. Hoping that nut goes in easy. How ever the oem part doesn’t look exactly like the one that came off so not sure about that.
