I'm looking for ideas on a bolt on exhaust for my Bonny. Something that sounds a little deeper or meaner, so to speak. Any ideas will be appreciated,,,, thank you

I may think a Magnaflow exhaust sounds deep, but Joe Blow may think a Flowmaster sounds better. It'* all a matter of preference and what YOU hear. Get on Youtube and search for 3800 exhaust. It doesn't matter if its a Buick, sand hog or a Bonneville, it will sound the same either way.

I have also heard its a very good idea to keep a resonator on it too,,,,,or it sounds terrible.... Is this also more or less correct?

I'm not sure about that one. Again, this is all personal preference on how you want it to sound. If not used correctly, a glasspack can make an exhaust sound like crap.
