Default Wbody chassis swap to rwd chassis?

I have a 95 coup pontiac grand prix its always been a vision of mine to make it a rwd vehicle I felt like it should have been, back to my point I want to know if there is a chassis that is extremely close to the w body i know the wheel base is 107.5 and I found a few options but was wanting a different point of view or recomandations. Trying to avoid shortening a chassis
yes I'm doing this willing to spend money but also to learn. This is just something I want to do for a long time, I know if I wanted a rwd I can get one but this is what I want to do. Any help would do
I went this route because I new a conversion would be pricey-er any ways thanks for the help in asvance.

Every once in a while we see this here. I don't intend to doubt or discourage, but I've never seen one completed here.

Do you want it to still look kind of like a 1995 GP when it'* completed or are you happy with a 1995 GP body perched on another chassis of some sort?

Do you want any of the gauges to work when you are done?

Do you have $20,000.00 and unlimited time?

Again, I don't intend to discourage. What you're talking about is a lot of custom fab work through most of the "solid" parts of a unibody car, then rebuilding all of it for RWD.

Find a frame from a 4X2 *-10. Get rid of the 4 or 6 cylinder engine and remove the trans.

Take your W-body, remove the engine cradle, front struts/suspension and rear struts/suspension.

Pick body up, drop onto complete *-10 frame. This is where a shitload of money and a good welder comes into play. Mount the unibody to the *-10 frame.
Now, gut out the tranny tunnel. Install a 5.3 and matching trans to the *-10 frame. Weld in new trans tunnel. Done.
