hi guys. bought a catalina this morning not really knowing anything about them as a model. my other two cars both need fixing so I bought this car cheap in the hopes of flipping it rather than spending money on renting a car or bumming rides. I learned some from wikipedia but I'm hoping to find decoders for the VIN and door tag to determine specifically what I have in the hopes of maximizing the sale price when I'm done with the car. I don't even know what options and packages were available on this car, I just knew it ran and drove great and figured the dealership just wanted the thing off their lot ASAP.

any info or links on trim, engines, anything like that would be much appreciated. even if it doesn't help me sell the car I love researching and learning about the various items I manage to acquire throughout my life.
