After disconnecting the battery for another matter, I picked up an odd problem: The air conditioner actually works fine. The problem appears after I shut the engine down while the air is running. The next time I start the engine, the control panel shows the air in auto mode, but the fan doesn't run. Once I turn the air off, and then press auto to turn it on, it runs fine again.

Before the problem appeared,the air would come back on with the configuration that had been in place when the engine was last shut down. Any thoughts would be appreciated.
