Default Transgo Shift Kit 4T65E

Since I have a 2006 Grand Prix GT with Supercharger, I have the 4T65E-HD transmission, will this same shift kit work for my transmission?
I am considering installing it when I do my pan drop and fluid change for the 2nd time.

I found a good write up on the grandprix forums, I am pretty sure we have one as well, I'll have to look for it, unless somebody already has the link on hand..

That GP forums post is good!
Dan has a write up, but I found one of my reply posts with directions that shows spacer placements etc...

INTENSE™ Street/Strip Shift kit does indicate works for both 4T65E and 4T65E-HD Transaxles .

Yeah it is, I'll most likely use it if I get the kit.
I am pretty sure that INTENSE Shift kit is exactly the same as the TransGo one, the TransGo one I think comes with harder spacers, unlike the ones with the INTENSE kit, at least that is what it sounded like.

On the instructions page, the pic says something about a rubber grommet needing installation, I am wondering if that really has to be done?
I don't see any write-ups mentioning that it needs to be done...
And the spacers, I wonder why in that thread Mike makes his own spacers.
Is that for people that do not want to install the TransGo kit?
I ask because the TransGo Kit says it comes with all you need...

Attaching a pic of where it says that rubber grommet goes..

The idea of making spacers was in belief that the spacers alone (without the spring kit) would solve the hard shifts/code, and did seem alone to fix the issue.
The rubber grommet hmmm, been a while since I did the work but, I think my interior grommet was fine without replacement.
