Default Sunfire Stock Stereo Problem

hey, i took out my stock stereo and cut the wire harness so i could rewire it to an aftermarket deck. the car is getting sold so i ended up putting the stock stereo back in and rewired the harness color for color, but when i plug it in it doesnt even power up, or work at all. any ideas on what could be wrong, wouldnt it work the same even tho i cut the wires i put them back together the exact same.

Also next radio you install I would pick up a adapter so you don't have to cut the factory harness. They make them for almost every make and model these days and are cheep.
