How do I locate my starter on 06 pontiac pusuit? Battery is in the trunk...

It will be underneath the engine, located where the transmission attaches to the engine. What'* wrong?

Could be a bad neutral safety switch. This is the switch that won't let you start your car unless it is in neutral or park. You need to check if voltage is getting to the starter when you turn the key to start. If it is not getting voltage, the starter is not the problem.
