Default Series III questions

Well, I got this '06 Grand Prix now with 41k on the ticker. I pop open the hood, and look around the engine...and what do my eyes see?

Plastic Intake gaskets and Dex

So, yeah...first on the list of things to do is to get those gaskets and Dex out of the motor. But, what I would really like to know is if the LIM on the S3s are the same as the S2s. If so, I'm gonna need some P&P work done.

Kinda late reply here but...

I thought every 3800 from 2005 up would have had aluminum LIM gaskets (and a aluminum upper if n/a)? Sure it'* the original motor?

Again assuming n/a here...L26 and L36 LIM should be the same.

Yes, it'* NA...and yes, it'* original.

So...provided the mani'* are the same, I could probably see a few gains in porting the freakin' thing
