Series III questions
 

Well, I got this '06 Grand Prix now with 41k on the ticker. I pop open the hood, and look around the engine...and what do my eyes see?

Plastic Intake gaskets and Dex :roll:

So, yeah...first on the list of things to do is to get those gaskets and Dex out of the motor. But, what I would really like to know is if the LIM on the S3s are the same as the S2s. If so, I'm gonna need some P&P work done.

Kinda late reply here but...

I thought every 3800 from 2005 up would have had aluminum LIM gaskets (and a aluminum upper if n/a)? Sure it's the original motor?

Again assuming n/a here...L26 and L36 LIM should be the same.

Yes, it's NA...and yes, it's original.

So...provided the mani's are the same, I could probably see a few gains in porting the freakin' thing ;)
