1997 Pontiac Sunfire Clutch Replacement - NEED ADVICE!
Hello!
My sister has a 1997 Pontiac Sunfire (2.2L 5-speed) and the clutch is going out. Her shift linkage went bad, she took it to the shop, and they said it was caused by a bad clutch (is that possible?) At any rate, I said I'd help her over the holidays when I go to visit. I'm pretty mechanically inclined, I've done timing belts, water pumps, exhaust, brakes, etc but never a clutch. I need advice.
I'll definitely be buying a shop manual (not that chilton or haynes garbage) to start, and just seeing what we can do. I'm looking for any and all tips, advice, guidance, etc. Anything helps!
Thanks a lot, cheers!

I actually would suggest buying a haynes or chilton manual.. but you can get those guides here (| Repair Guides | Clutch | Actuator (slave) Cylinder | AutoZone.com) It will tell you exactly how to remove and install it.
