Default Rattling sunroof

My G5'* sunroof works fine, but it rattles. It'* most noticeable when it'* open just a crack. Is this a common GM problem with a common fix?

Why would you open it just a crack?

Does it make the noise when completely open? Completely closed?

The G5 and G6 are very cheap built cars, like the cobalt. Rattles and squeaks are very common.

same problem with laurens impy. i stopped opening it part way when it got stuck.... looked online and found out gm sunroofs have the electronics of you're casio watch. it forgets where its at and just has a panic attack and wont work. had to manually close it with an allen wrench in the motor.

Could never understand that....the European cars used to come with with a crank arm in your glove box , so if your power sunroof wouldn't close, you weren't stuck with with an open roof, especially if it rained...

Something all sunroofs should come with....

Never found the G6 sunroofs to have a rattle problem......but the hard top convertibles? Now there was a rattle waiting to happen.....
