You have a rack and pinion and NO pitman arm.

I knew my rack had a leak, which I have slowed down with lucas, I was hoping it may hold out, but when I go over bumps I can feel the bumps still, not like before the struts, but like something is deff bad, I figured it was the control arms since they deff look worn, rubber bushings cracking, some feel like hard plastic now..
Turns left or right easily though..
I am not sure iff I can do a rack job myself, not with just jackstands, I know it can be done, but no videos I have watched show the job well..
I do have my FSM'* though...
A rack job with parts will probably be like what, 800.00 at least?

I find the most time consuming part of the job is connecting the column to the pto on the rack. Once in a great while it will go OK but most of the time you will hit new notes and words.

Well, I looked at the paper the tire place gave me again, and I see rack and pinion, and it is checked green as being good, so is the ball joint, I wonder if they even checked them, lol

Replaced control arms, ball joints were a little worn but good, other bushings were cracking..
I also replaced the stabilizer links, but I still have the clicking noise.
I hear it a little when I shift from drive to reverse, and when turning left going slow.
Not sure what is left, can the intermediate shaft click?
There is an old TSB on it, I have it but have never gotten to put in on yet.
Maybe the rack is clicking?

Motor and Trans mounts are also new.

I replaced the driver side where the click sounds like it was coming from, have not gotten the passenger yet.

Yeah, and like a fool I forgot when the click is more prevalent sounding on the left side then it is the right cv axle, dunno how I forgot that. :o
I'll do the right side asap, and try to do my intermediate shaft also, that does not look too difficult.
