Okay here is an update. There was no recent work done on the engine aside from what I have done. My fiance, my bestfriend, and now I think that we have figured out the problem with the oil pressure. My best friend had a 93 that was doing the same thing and it was the oil sending unit, so tomorrow we will be replacing that. As for the knocking, we will see.

Okay here is yet another update. I was making my usual drive from Marion Indiana to Muncie, Indiana via I-69 and about halfway down and I blew the engine. Now my baby is dead. There is no fixing that thing aside from a new motor. Also, the engine light never came on, the oil pressure gauge was working like it should and the temp gauge was showing normal temp. So now all my work and money was for nothing. Off to find another car.

There is plenty of power but it won't start. There is too much strain in the engine for it to actually crank.

I haven't tried anything yet. After it shut down the first time, my old man has me really start it and I drove it a little over a mile going 35 emphasis with the the gas all the way down to the floor and very little oil pressure and rpm * at 4500 until it died again. I had my son in the car and was trying to make it to the next exit.

I had the car towed to my house and she is sitting in my back yard. I am in the middle of moving so I have to get the move done before I start any kind of work on the car.
