Moving Engine Forward? 03 Bonneville L67
Is it possible to move the engine forward (or rather, pivot it down)? I removed the front engine mount and assumed the rear mount was a pivot, and that I could simply lower the jack that was holding it up to move the engine forward... Alas, it didn't move at all. Is there another mount I'm missing?
I'm trying to get to the rear to diagnose an oil leak. I presume it'* a valve cover gasket leak, but I can't get back there enough to get the bottom bolts out. I also needed to change rear spark plugs which is virtually impossible without either removing the valve cover or moving the engine forward. Personally I don't see why they couldn't have just moved it all forward 2 inches, there'* so much room in front of the engine and would have given me the extra room to get back there. But I digress.
Any insight is appreciated, thanks!

Do you have a support bar that goes between the struts towers? You can pull that and have more room. You also have transmission mounts to deal with. Check the front drivers side.
