Sorry, I didn't get back to you. If you haven't ordered it yet, if there isn't too much difference in price, you might want to go with the AC/Delco OEM part. While I was researching a possible cause to a lean condition in a 3.8 (in the Chevrolet thread) I found a couple of people who had problems with aftermarket MAF sensors not working correctly or within the parameters they are supposed to. Replacing with a GenUine GM part seemed to have solved the lean problem they were chasing.
Just something to keep in mind, I know what you have to go through for parts, it'* not like you can just go down to the corner parts store or order over the net without the hassle of customs and exorbitant taxe$e$. I send a fair amount of parts to Brazil, I always send OEM, between the cost of shipping and import duties, it'* penny smart and dollar foolish to use 2nd tier parts lines.
Hopefully the MAF will take care of the issue, keep us posted on the results.

Dear Cobram: Sorry to delay to replay you. (I was out of town/carnival time).I agree with you about aftermarket parts. I always like and want only OEM parts for my cars and as you said, it´* not go to the dealer at corner and get it here in Brazil.
I put already my order with RockAuto for a brand new GM OEM Maf sensor at 245.00 bucks plus all the tax that the brasilan custons will rip me off.
Sorry about your kind offer, but I will keep in touch with you for the next round, okay? As I said above I´ll let the friends to know if the new MAF will fix my mileage.
I appreciate your offer and thanks a lot.
