Default emergency fuel shut off switch?

I was in an accident and my front bumper got ripped off... the impact was not very strong and no real serious damages. i can put the bumper back on with duct tape and bubble gum but i went to start my car and the battery worked but the engine would not turn over...
i was told that some vehicles have an emergency fuel cut off or shut off valve or sensor and I could just push a button and my car would run again.
does such an option exist on my car? if so where is it located? i have a pontiac wave 2005.
if there is no switch, is there something I can do to get get my engine to turn over?
help! i don't want to spend more then i have to to fix this problem. i don;t want to pay for a tow if i there is something i can do to fix the problem myself
