Coolant Gooseneck, and starting issue, 98 SE
I found my coolant leak finally, it'* the gooseneck on top of the intake. Typically, I'd use the factory thin gasket, but also a little rtv on both sides, for a little extra insurance. Figured I'd run that by the forum if that will work, or something else that would work better.
Secondly, I've been needing to turn the key on, and wait 15-20 seconds, before cranking, otherwise it'll just crank and not start. The whole fuel pump assembly was replaced 4 years ago, and the sensor on top of the tank was replaced more recently. I changed the fuel filter, since I don't remember replacing it before, but that didn't help. I noticed there wasn't any hiss when I loosened the gas cap, though it hadn't been started since the previous day. And when I had that sensor replaced, it didn't help the CEL that suggested it needed it. Took it to the shop, said there was a line under the car leaking. I suppose that'* getting into the vapor recovery system. At a bit of a loss as to where to check next.

If so, then yes, and I'd use a Felpro gasket and very little RTV

Maybe, but we need more info in order to understand. No way an evaporative system leak would cause it to need 15-20 seconds of ignition-on in order for the car to start.
What does the fuel pressure do during these events?
Well, 6 months later, both issues seem to have worked themselves out! I've given the car to my oldest, who'* a HS senior this fall, and got his first job! It'* still running well, and the ac'* cold. I showed him how to check & top off the oil & radiator the other evening.
