charging system failure
I bought the battery from Amazon on February 5, 2020 , I need to look at the date on it to see when it was made...
The one in the trunk should def be newer than it.
That is a good idea of swapping them, if it does not work I'd not have spent another 250.00 + on a battery.
I honestly probably did not need the second battery, but it made me feel good, he he

Worked 60hrs, no time to check the batt yet, but 4 days in a row with the charger hooked to it all night it started right up, so I am thinking the battery is either bad, or I have a parasitic drain..

You could disconnect the battery when you park it then reconnect and see how it starts after the same time duration without charging. That would answer this question.
It is raining hard now so I am just sitting in here wasting the only day off this week I have to do anything, damn 60hr work week was rough.
Scheduled another 60, damn, lol
Today I went to a friends after work, shut it off, and the same crap....
I had to disconnect batt neg, wait a minute, then reconnect, and it still barely started...
Still going to check the batt as suggested, just so tired, and time is so short atm, I work 10hr days so by the time I get home it is dinner, then bed.
I wanted to post the isolator I am using since I mentioned it...

Yawn, yeah it makes my checks happier anyway.
I noticed something yesterday, I have a terminal on my side post that has 2 grounds, from the big 3 upgrade..
I left it disconnected and was driving and I heard my isolator click like it does when it cuts on or off, and I noticed the DIC showed a 1v drop in voltage, I was at 12.7/12.9 so I am confused as 12.6v is a full batt while not being charged...
If the car kept running the alt should be fine, but I am concerned with that vdrop regardless.
